Everything you need to know about testing and launching your app with 12 Testers.

This error usually means:

You didn’t join the required Google Group.

You’re not signed in with the same Google account linked to Play Store.

How to fix:

Use the same Gmail as your Play Store account.

Join this group: tester-pro-community.

After joining, re-open the app testing link.

Whitelisting for closed testing on Play Console.

Complete these 3 steps before uploading a new app:

Step 1 - Add Tester Group: Play Console → Test & release → Testing → Closed testing → Testers → choose “Google Groups” and add tester-pro-community@googlegroups.com.

Step 2 - Set Countries: In the Countries/regions tab select all countries (or the ones you want) and save.

Step 3 - Submit for Review: Click “Send for review” and wait for approval before publishing testers.


Follow these simple steps to upload your app for testing:

Choose your plan (Free / Premium Public / Private).

Enter your app Play Store URL or APK/AAB link.

Select number of testers and credits to share.

Upload and submit. Admin will add your app to the closed test and confirm when ready.


Testers should provide:

Bugs or crashes encountered (steps to reproduce).

UI/UX issues and usability problems.

Suggestions for improvement and overall impressions.

Helpful, honest, and actionable feedback improves outcomes and trust ratings.


If production approval isn't granted:

Free plan: re-upload after making fixes and resubmit.

Premium plan: admins can keep apps installed on testers' devices and help with retesting and guidance until approval.

Follow the Play Console guidance and use tester reports to fix issues. Admins can support re-testing.
